Three things I care about more than the stack they are written in.
Small deploys, boring dependencies, and a failure mode decided before the traffic arrives rather than during it.
Read the noteRetry budgets instead of fixed attempt counts, and steps that are safe to run twice — a booking flow that can resume is worth more than one that promises not to fail.
